How is a backflow of urine up through the vas deferens into the epidymis causing epidymitis diagnosed? what tools will accurately diagnose this?

Timing is everything: Usually patients with this type of reflux report stinging pain at he end of urination and this can be seen on voiding cystogram but only if it is refluxing at the time of the cystogram/urogram. Often this reflux only occurs occaisionally so it's only seen if reflux occurs during the test.
