A member asked:

After i got treated for chlamydia my doctor said i had a small case and would be able to conceive in the future should i still be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: The germ can travel up into your fallopian tubes and cause inflammation/scarring that might prevent a natural pregnancy or place you at risk of a tubal pregnancy in the future. Early recognition and treatment with antibiotics can limit the damage and protect fertility.Condoms can provide you some but not complete protection against a new infection, but future infections are possible.
