Discuss with doctor: Decreased libido is one of the potential sexual side effects from Lexapro and medications of the same class. Sometimes this can improve if the dose is adjusted, but at the risk of depressive and anxiety symptoms returning. Medications like Ambien (zolpidem) and Clonazepam can cause tiredness, thereby resulting in decreased sexual drive. Recommend she discuss alternative options with doctor. Hope this helps.

See your doctor: See your doctor any of those medications can be the cause Lexapro (escitalopram) can certainly cause lack of libidos. May have to balance the benefit with the side effects. There are other choices of medications. Talk to your doctor
