No not dangerous: 29 y/o asks Are freckles dangerous? Is it good to remove freckles? No freckles are not dangerous. Freckles are small skin blemishes/ patches that can get darker and bigger with exposure to Ultraviolet (UV-B) radiation with sun exposure. No it is not good to remove freckles unless they are in cosmetically uncomfortable place and then one needs a Professional. Use of Sunscreen is encouraged.

Harmless: Most people who tend to get freckles like them, though some folks seek to have them removed. It's personal preference. Laser removal is somewhat successful. Freckles pose no danger, though everybody should use sunscreen to avoid getting skin cancer and accelerated photoaging. Photo Guy seems proud of his freckles as a sign of an active outdoor life.
