Just had a baby and she breast feeds and her areola's are bleeding what should she do?

Moisturize: She should keep the nipples moist either with breast milk, warm compresses and nursing cream. The bleeding is most likely due to dry cracked nipples. In addition, she should have an examination by her OB Doctor to confirm there are no abnormalities or infection.
