Can the medication topamax (topiramate) cause palinopsia? i'm on it for frequent migraines and have started noticing trailing in vision and sensitivity to light.

See eye doctor.: I do not think that palinopsia or having trailing images, as a specific complaint, is listed as a known complication. This medication, however excellent, has been known to cause significant eye problems that can be irreversible. Such things as narrow angle glaucoma can also occur. I would ask for the pressure in your eyes to be checked now and see your eye doctor ASAP.
