Need more info: When did you have sex? You may wish to repeat the test using first morning urine and making sure to follow the instructions carefully. Better yet, get a blood test for HCG level. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

1 week: It takes a urine pregnancy test a week to become positive. Once a woman has conceived and she gets the depotprovera shot during the week while the pregnancy test is still negative, the depotprovera shot won't help.
