Wipe out!: Antibiotics aren't very smart. They wipe out all the bacteria in your body that are sensitive to them, not just the ones that are causing your bladder infection. The good bacteria in our gut that helps digest food gets wiped out too. It can take weeks for that "flora" to get re-established and your bowels to go back to normal. You can have loose stools for a while. No worries. Probiotics may help.

Gurgling s/p abx: You may benefit from probiotics as they can repopulate your gut with appropriate bacteria. If diarrhea develops let your doc know immediately may be due to loss of bacteria but also may be c difficile, whihc is critical to treat.
