Raccoon bite: Raccoons can carry rabies, and it would be prudent for the person bitten to seek care at the county health department for rabies prevention ( injections).

She needs eval: n 2018 raccoons made up 30.3% of rabid wildlife reported in the USA (only beaten out by bats). Raccoons primarily spread rabies through bites. Your friend needs medical attention now. She will likely be assessed for tetanus status and for rabies shots.
