You are at low: risk for cervical cancer with little sexual activity. But the main idea is to start being screened for cervical cancer about 3 years after the onset of sexual activity. The HPV virus, if contracted, is not expected to cause cervical cellular changes for several years. So when it has been 3 years since sexual activity onset, I would recommend a Pap smear.
