Asa /periods: Asa does not affect timing of periods . If you are on your period and take ASA theoretically you might bleed a bit more or heavier because asa is an anti-platelet agent, though one study showed no change in menstrual discharge.During flu season its not the best idea to take ASA as there is a risk of Reyes syndrome. .
