Must r/o. Cancer.: In anyone who smokes and gets a symptom, especially a new pain, especially in the chest or neck, the possibility of cancer unfortunately must be entertained. This has to be investigated right away. Could very well not be cancer, don't get me wrong, but in a smoker this is always a consideration.
