Mercury = non issue: If they did use an alloy that contain (some) mercury it would not be the cause of her stomoach & sleeping issues. Visit MD for issues 12 cavities at age 7 = I would not use fillers & most likely the decay is on back molars that we wish to keep for 4-5+ years = stainless steal crowns indicated but parent may opt for zirconia crown instead (premium price) for better strength with a better look.

Cavities: Hi- I am not a dentist, but I am almost 100% sure that filling material does NOT contain mercury. But ask a dentist and he will say. I am more worried about WHY she has 7 cavities. Too much sugar in the diet will do it and no fluoride in water. Check with dentist, reduce candy and add fluoride as a daily supplement.thanks

Serious: If your daughter has 12 infections she needs immediate care. The appropriate restorative material depends on the amount and location of tooth destruction, and is best determined by her Dentist. Despite the scary unfounded stories about silver fillings, THEY POSE NO HEALTH RISK. Talk to her Dentist about best treatment for your daughter.
