Halitosis : Halitosis or bad breath could be the results of various factors .. It ranges from just the presence of the biofilm or dental plaque to systemic diseases . Let her pediatric dentist examine her teeth , gum, if everything ok and no cavities or gum disease check her throat , sinuses . Post nasal drips could cause halitosis also throat infection could lead to that..

Tonsils: Yes. Her bad breath may be caused by allergies that produce post-nasal drip. She may also have enlarged tonsils that trap bacteria in our mouths or food particles. I would visit your pediatrician and question whether a consultation with an ENT would be a good idea. I think that it would!
