Chin and body: hair that seems excessive for a woman. Yes, you can see your doc and he/she can do some hormone lab testing. Whatever the result and treatment, don't let bodily things such as hair define who you are or are not. Peace and good health.

Absolutely: B"sd excess hair or hirsuitism can certainly be just cosmetic usualy on a familial basis. However, especialy if it is severe hormonal evaluation should be done, usualy with an endocrinologist although other providers may get involved. Studies are directed to establishing excess of male type hormones and then trying to determine the cause. Medical therapy is often helpful. Glad to discuss with you
