Labarynthitis: as you know, is an inflammation of the inner ear. Vertigo is the most common symptom along with hearing loss. So I presume you have been returning to your GP for persistent vertigo.Perhaps it isn't labarynthitis which typically resolves in a few weeks. Other causes of vertigo include benign positional vertigo or Meniere's disease. At this point, ask for a referral to an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist
