I want to know what is the difference between a pectoral muscle pull and a tear?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Both are strains of: Pect ms. The tear is generally associated with its tendon part, ie being torn, while the pull refers to the muscular part of it. Each muscle has a body (the fleshy part, muscular part) and a tendinous part, which attaches to a bone.
