Next: Broaden view.: EKG only shows heart electrical activity, not causes. Yes the changes in heart rate & strength of beat may be involved in your waking up with symptoms, yet neither are CAUSES, only symptoms/results of internal autonomic activity which split-second regulate heart/body functions 24/7. Autonomic activity=mind/brain control extending into body. Fears/Terrors in dreams (amnesia on awakening)=cause.
