Follow up : Most likely your doctor scheduled you for a follow up sonogram and checked your hormone levels. There are two possibilities here. One is that you are very early pregnant and it's too early to see the baby. The second possibility is that something is abnormal. Follow up ultrasound will be needed to determine.
