Yes: Unfortunately, you are at a higher risk. We test patients with your history for clotting disorders (PAI-1, MTHFR, factor V Leiden, protein c deficiency, protein s deficiency). If a patient tests positive, we treat with blood thinners (heparin or enoxaperin). This has yielded great results in our practice. Also, checking for uterine problems with ultrasound. Best of luck!
