Is it safe to eat corn on the cob, ribs & other food that place a lot of pressure on the front teeth when both teeth are crowned?

Dental Crowns: The underlying tooth supporting the crown should certainly be strong enough to support you eating corn on the cob and picking meat off bones. DO NOT use your natural or prosthetic teeth as tools: opening a bottle is not recommended.

Sure/depends: sure = I would always ask my patients to use their crowns and to ask as if they are an extension of themselves and not a hindrance. So use them. Depends = if they were severely compromised to begin with I would be careful but in most cases like this I would the front teeth crown placed as one unit to add stability/strength
