Lpr: Unfortunately LPR doesn't respond well to any treatment. Sometimes it will improve using GERD treatment so it's worthwhile trying a PPI medication like nexium or pepcid which is an H2 blocker. I believe that LPR falls more in the province of the ENT rather than gastroenterologist.
