You need an exam.: Testicular pain can be caused by many things, such as infection or decreased blood supply. Common causes are epididymitis, orchitis, and testicular torsion (which is very serious). Dilated blood vessels (varicocele) or inguinal hernia can cause an aching sensation. See your doc for a physical exam to exclude the more serious causes of testicular pain.
