My chest x-ray only mentions acute illnesses that are not present. it does not mention chronic illnesses at all. should i be concerned?

Not usually: Most radiologists describe changes on chest X-ray whether acute or chronic. Sometimes normal variations are not mentioned.Sometimes if a pattern was present on previous study without change radiologist will describe exam as no interval change.
