Trazodone dose of: 150 mg at bedtime is reasonable if lower doses were tolerable, helpful but not adequate to assist with improving sleep. Inform your prescriber if you experience side effects including disturbing vivid dreams. Hopefully it will help you sleep better and improve your mood without any side effects. Best regards for relief.

Caution: Combining Zoloft (sertraline) + Trazodone may increase risk for serotonin syndrome, ie, too much serotonin in your system. Talk with prescribing doctor to review need for both Zoloft (sertraline) and Trazodone. Perhaps Zoloft (sertraline) dose can be lowered. See: http://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=2228-0,2057-1348 I hope this helps. Best wishes.
