Not Safe: If you are allergic, it is not safe. Have yourself tested, and if that is not possible, refrain from coming into contact with any coconut products until such time you can be tested.

Avoid it: You are allergic if the history is obvious. The stuff you read online about coconuts being especially good for you is all made up by crooks. There is no law against coconut growers fabricating crazy claims. Your physician is a better guide. Please take care of yourself and be discerning. Best wishes.

No more coconut!!: Testing for allergy in your case is probably useful for other things that cross react with coconut. Your symptoms are enough to diagnose an allergy to coconut. Discuss this with a doctor in person.
