Unexpected noise: When you listen to the heart, the traditional lub-dup of the valves closing is what you expect to hear. When you hear an extra whooshing or vibratory sound it is usually of low intensity, so the "murmur" label is used.It can be murmur "good", or just part of the dynamic flow of blood .If it is murmur "bad",it represents a defect requiring special attention and care.
