Exam: As mild as your symptoms appear, it still is very important to have an Eye MD check your eye for any subtle injury (and to the contact lens). Just a superficial poke could introduce a contaminate into the corneal surface (or deeper) resulting in a bad infection. Is is doubtful that you perforated your eyeball with so little discomfort, but you never know. Safety pins & eyes don't belong together.
