Medications: Invega (paliperidone) is also a second generation neuroleptic but they are different drugs. Risperdal also comes in injectable form called “risperdal consta”. Invega (paliperidone) is approved for treatment of schizophrenia. Risperdal is approved for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and irritability associated with ADHD.
