A member asked:

Had eus 3 months ago that showed barrett's and an ulcer in my esophagus. now my stool is black. is this related? should i call my gastroenterologist?

You NEED to call.: Black stool can be a hint of blood emanating from the upper GI tract, wherein you have an ulcer and a pre-cancerous change in your esophagus. You need to call your GI doctor and have an EGD in the very near future.
