FBS: I presume you have type 1 diabetes given your age. My apologies if your doctor has said you have type 2 diabetes and he is correct. Very unlikely unless you are substantially overweight. You should check your blood sugar almost all day if you have type 1 diabetes. There is excellent safe equipment for continuous blood sugar control. Can you please give me some more information about your diabetes.
