Angular blepharitis: It is not uncommon at that location for constant dampness (due to tears and secretions) to cause the skin to break down and crack. The best treatment for this is to keep the area clean with a warm moist towel once daily and use an ointment such as vaseline to coat the area 2-3 times daily until healed. In persistent cases it may be necessary to have an antibiotic ointment prescribed.
