Hypothyroidism: Yes untreated hypothyroidism could result in a swollen face but not very common. If you have hypothyroidism your doctor should have started treating you with thyroid medicine. If you are already taking thyroid medicine and your face is swollen, your doctor must see you and determine what the problem is. Please let me know what develops.
