A member asked:

Could epilepsy/seizure trigger temporary paralysis/weakness for secs? doctor suspects my weakness/paralysis caused by it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You bet it can: Lingering post-ictal temporary paralysis is called Todd's paralysis, and is not uncommon. Best way to manage is prevention. Since we have more than 20 different anti-epileptic meds, should be fairly simple to find the best approach and "fix this".
