I have recently been diagonized with two fibroids 6 cm and 4 cm. i was told that this is the cause for a rectal pain that i have been suffering from for the past few months. is there anything (apart from tablets) that can relieve the rectal pain?

I would recommend evaluation with a practitioner that specializes in pelvic pain. www.pelvicpain.org I would also discuss treatment options further with you doctor. The fibroids may or may not be causing the rectal pain. In addition keep stool soft and avoid constipation.

Removal of fibroids: If the hypothesis that the fibroids cause the pain, because they are located on the posterior wall of the uterus, the only way to relieve the pain would be by removing the fibroids.
