A member asked:

Is it common for lack of sleep to cause anxiety? i havent been getting as much as id like because my son and work. i have a history of anxiety

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very much so!: Both anxiety and depression result from sleep loss. And if this question is about yourself may I suggest psychotherapy? Medications alone will not do it. Meds and therapy are the best combination.
