SCI C4-C5: The curling is called contractures, sometimes splints are used with / without PT to straighten the limb/ digits and decrease contractures, speak to your physical therapist , or neurologist regarding use of splints, PT , e-stim www.kcl.ac.uk/lsm/research/divisions/cicelysaunders/attachments/Splinting-guidlines/Neurosplinting-Quick-Reference-Guide.pdf

See specialists: I would definitely recommend you be seen at a center that treats spinal cord injuries as the outcome and functional benefits can be drastically better. In America, among the finest centrs are the sheperds center in Atlanta, ric in Chicago, and the Miami spine project.
