Pregnant: Tubal ligation in young women, e.g., in a 21 y/o, has been shown to have a significantly higher failure rate (20 times higher) over the ten years following the tubal ligation than in women over the age of 35 y/o. Women who get pregnant after tubal ligation, have a high risk of having a tubal pregnancy.
