A member asked:

I left a box of liquid formula in the car over night. (not mixed yet) temperatures were below 0. is the formula still ok to give to my baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No worries...: If liquid baby formula accidentally got too cold, but the sterile seal or vacuum seal is still intact, there should be no problem. If the sterile seal or vacuum seal is broken, the formula can be treated like a newly opened can of formula. If unsure about the seal, one can keep the whole box in the refrigerator and use it up over a week, before using other formula that did not get too cold.
