Pumped milk, right?: Babies drink breast milk, either pumped or directly from the breast. Formula (not cow milk) is an option if there is not enough breast milk. In nature, nobody knows how much a baby drinks, because she drinks from the breast. That being said, if a normal healthy 2 month-old wakes every hour and only drinks 1.5 oz, she can be gradually increased to 3 oz per feeding and will likely sleep better.
