Don't self-induce.: It's always better to not self-induce vomiting - can damage the esophagus. If your body wants to get rid of something, it will, don't worry about that. Not all nausea needs to lead to vomiting. Try to ride it out and eat very light foods if you can tolerate anything - white rice, bananas, toast - and drink fluids a little at a time.
