Tongue puffy dry: Discuss w/ doctor taking a benedryl in the docs office and see if it makes a difference. Sometimes, GERD/ reflux can cause swelling in mouth, look for white patches or even consider culture for strep/ yeast. i have seen in young children swelling from strep ( and not the type that is positive on the rapid strep) . I usually do not attribute physical conditions to anxiety f/u w/ doc /ENT
