A member asked:

I have anxiety and have become rather clumsy, is this somehow linked?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anxiety & grace: Anxiety can cause an awkwardness of movement, especially if self-consciousness is high. Anxieties and fears can cause people to over-think what otherwise might be quite natural. This over-thinking can interfere with the graceful performance of mundane tasks (which are perhaps better regulated by the right hemisphere and are stored as "procedural knowledge, " rather than linear, verbal knowledge).
