First, I presume you: wrote this this morning, Wednesday, so it has been 4 days since you had a cigarette. If the most common test is used--urine test for cotinine--you should pass. Nicotine and its metabolites are only detectable for 3-4 days in the urine. However, if a blood or hair test is used, results are positive longer...up to weeks in isolated instances. Pursue quitting; avoid the stress of outwitting tests!
