Please discuss: With your OB doctor. There are risks to the fetus/child when taking this medication and there are risks to the fetus/child when one becomes manic. Xanax is not typically an effective agent for preventing mania, in addition. Your OB should be made aware of the prescription and needs to council you on both of these issues.
