The clobetasol solution (in conjunction with medicated shampoos) that i use for treating sebhoreic dermititus on my scalp is expensive and ineffective. amoxycillin (250mg/day) is cheap effective and in the long run dangerous. suggestions?

Amoxicillin: suggests that the problem is from an infection and not for seborrhea thus the ineffectiveness from clobetasol . However long-term amoxicillin use will end up getting you infected with a resistant bacteria not to mention the potentially serious infection in your guts. I suggest that you consult a dermatologist. (Are you on any drug which may suppress immune system or do you have diabetes?
