Ignore this stuff : Epidemiology by its nature generates a huge amount of garbage. Your decision about whether to drink a little bit shud not hinge on cancer concerns. I do not believe wine has any real health benefits and neither do most of us. Keep up the usual cancer surveillance and make sensible lifestyle choices.

See answer: Even small amounts of alcohol raise the risk of breast cancer. However, small amounts of alcohol reduces the risk of heart attack which kills many more women than breast cancer. A reasonable compromise: Light consumption of red wine. There is evidence that red wine is less likely to cause breast cancer than white wine. It appears to be a natural aromatase inhibitor.
