Toothbrush bristles turn pink after a while...what is the reason behind this...is this harmful?

Some possibilities..: Some tooth brushes are designed to change color as they wear to indicate it's time to get a new one. Another possibility is chronic bleeding gums could be staining the bristles. Take it along to your dentist and get both the brush and your mouth examined

Serratia Marcescens: is bacteria that will grow anywhere if there is sufficient moisture. You should change your tooth brush every 2-3 month.
