Depends: Some bleeding and discharge can be normal for up to 6 weeks. However if bleeding is heavy enough that it soaks more than a maxi pad in an hour or associated with any other symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness, pain, itching, fainting....then follow up with doctor or ER ASAP
