A member asked:

Is there a sure-fire way to diagnose paget's disease of the breast? how long does the condition take to worsen? i have a itchy patch on my areola.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Biopsy: The only sure way to diagnose is by taking a biopsy and have a pathologist examine the tissue. It would be prudent to see a doctor as it is not feasible to give a meaningful opinion without examining you. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
